In a Louisiana store, the ATM machine gave away $20 
for every $5 patrons requested when using the ATM machine. Apparently this occurred for days before the store personnel figured it out. They are now asking folks who got the “extra” money to return it.
If you went to an ATM machine and it gave you more money than you asked for, would you tell someone and/or give it back to the bank or store or would you take your happy self to the nearest store and shop?

whoa… although this was an ‘error’, back in my banking days we used to do it as a promo to encourage people to use the atm.
lol…my bank never gave us freebies…might have to switch banks.
Interesting. I would probably give it back. I can’t believe that they don’t have cameras or something. If I had seen this before I posted I would have added it to my unplugged today.
Princess Dominique, isn’t that something. I had never heard of anything like that either. If the people don’t voluntarily turn the money in, they said they may be able to look at the records and then issue warrants for their arrest.
I read this story somewhere else. I would have been thinking I was on an episode of Punk’d or something!
