Have You Heard of Online Booty Call?
I was watching the M & J show earlier this week and the founder for this online site called OnlineBootyCall.com was on there discussing the benefits of the site. Of course it’s self explanatory what the main benefit is–if you’re on the site, you already know what time it is.
People will come up with anything these days. According to the founder and one of the women who has a profile on the site, just because you’re a member of the site, it doesn’t mean you’re on their looking for someone to knock boots with. Yeah right. I have land in the Atlantic Ocean if you buy that bull they were talking.
I’ve been busy this week so I just got a chance to check out the site. I didn’t sign in as a member. I glanced through their terms of service and it was clever how they got themselves out of any legal obligations–for instance if you happen to meet someone on there and decide you don’t want to have sex with them after you meet them in person and the other person gets violent with you; the site is not responsible so don’t try to sue them. If you get a disease from sleeping with someone you met from the site, don’t try to sue them; they are not responsible. Of course those were my interpretations of the fine print; if you read them, I’m sure you’ll come up with your own.
I need to come up with a website SingleBlackWomanLookingForASingleBlackManWorkingWhoIsNotAHo.

Exactly… but add working at a legal occupation. And in the terms of conditions he has a quiz so that he can clarify what a man Ho is…since so many men don’t seem to know.
Michelle
Shelia,
OMG… I’m just sitting here shaking my head.
Will my amazement never end at the blatant stupidity of some people? Every time I think I’ve seen a new low, it gets lower? Why am I actually surprised about this website?
LOL!
BTW – best wishes with the new website
This is a trip! I’m just sitting here shaking my head at this.
What’s a trip is that he has vistors who actually sign up. That’s sad.
lol @ those terms of service.
Like you I am now under the belief that people will come up with just about anything. Sadly, there is a market for just about anything under the sun. That is the truth of the world we live in. I think they could have stood to make the name something more presentable other than “Booty Call.”
Sad.
35%Off…wow…thanks for sharing the link.
BTW, that article about the marriage is an april fool’s joke. I guess nobody bothered to check the date on the press release.

I’ve seen it all now.
Does it really matter? The guy is smart in my eyes..Hello….2 million members already..I’m just urked I didn’t think of it sooner myself!
Sex sells PERIOD….poke fun if you’d like but he’s laughing all the way to the bank..
Let’s all remember that these sites are often made only to attract men into paying a subscription fee. The women’s profiles are often totally fake. The owner of the site isn’t hoping to get rich, but he is hoping to get some money from those men who think they can meet women this way.
Personally, I think it’s all a scam.
Jon, I’m sure he’s getting rich off the people using the site. Has anyone used an online dating service before? I wrote an article about this. I might post it here later.
Wait a minute–we need to determine what we mean by “rich”. Is he the next Warren Buffett? I don’t think so.
Do some research on sites like “AdultFriendFinder.com” and look how many men say it’s all a sham. Sure, they get suckered into paying but will unlikely meet any of the women because few of them are real.
I have done extensive research on dating sites as I was one of the engineers at eHarmony. It’s my business to know the competition even though the “booty”-type sites I’m referring to are not considered to be in competition with eHarmony.
Few people (esp. women) understand that there are a whole crop of sites totally designed to bait men with enticing offers. P**is enlargement sites among them. Remember, “there is a sucker born every minute”.
I have reports of single men using Craig’s List to post ads only to be contacted by some adorable girl who is eager to date them if only they will correspond with her through AdultFriendFinder.com. Unbelievably, this site actually hires people to post responses to free dating boards in an effort to drive traffic to them.
If you doubt what I’m saying, go post a test profile AS A MAN at OnlineBootyCall.com–make it attractive. Then send some “I’m interested” messages to some women, say 100 of them. Check back in a week to see how many women even LOOKED at your profile. The number will likely be 0 (or maybe 1 or 2 if you had in fact contacted someone real). (You can do all this for free.) Also, when you log off the site there is a huge ad for AdultFriendFinder.com.
Maybe the site owner is making more money driving people to other sites (such as AdultFriendFinder) as an “affiliate”–if they click the ad and join that site he gets a commission. But I can guarantee you that this guy isn’t getting rich. The market is too diluted with sites that have boatloads of fake female profiles and cost less that OnlineBootyCall. Once a man gets burned and realizes that the women aren’t real and that he’s been duped, it is unlikely that he will ever renew his membership to that site or join one that’s similar.
Also, give me a break: How many truly attractive women would share their body with horny men or internet predators? The responses on this forum alone are enough to suggest that it nauseates most women. Most women have other ways of getting “booty” and the professional ones won’t share themselves for free.
I predict the OnlineBootyCall site won’t survive past 2010.
Regards,
Jon
the site appears to be full of fake profiles. I think the site creates a lot of the profiles to make it look like a busy site. But you will notice very, very few of the profiles have “Gold Member” status which means you cannot send or receive emails. I doubt that site facilitates many meetings. There are many other ways to meet, even if it’s just for casual sex. I doubt this website serves as one of them. I tried it out for a year and met a total of two people: one I asked to leave because he bored the hell out me, the second was a truly great guy, but I am sure that was one of those one-in-a-million encounters.
Wow.. What a great topic!.. i’m definately coming back for more
I think the pronouncements I read here are too judgmental and not based on the real situation. I have used this particular Booty site and also Adult Friendfinders. You would be amazed at the actual use these sites get for sexual encounters. Sure, there are spammers, trolls and fake posters on them, and it takes more effort for men, but there are also real people.
I have generally been pleasantly surprised by the sweetness (and libidos) of some, really most of the women that yes, I had sex with. In most cases it was fun for all involved. Since it is consensual, it is hard for me to proclaim it awful and negative. It runs the gambit from hardcore lifestyle women (and men) to lonely soccer moms stuck at home with kids who can rarely get out, to dissatisfied marrieds, to experimenters and the curious. Not everybody can be involved in deep loving or even committed relationships every minute of their lives. And traditional dating has shortfalls. So what are the options for those who are more sexual? Going to bars alone? Using one’s hand alot? To me as long as one avoids addiction, this approach does make some sense.
