History was made this week. Sen. Barack Obama is the Democratic Party presidential choice for the party. He is the first African-American to be in the top spot and he has a serious chance of being our first African-American President.

Whoever he wants to, he’s earned that right in my opinion. And for folks like Bob Johnson to try and strong arm him into picking Hillary by writing letters to the Congressional Black Caucus is just a shame to me…

I feel pretty much as Gwyneth does, he should research and decide for himself…no one particularly a Bob Johnson should be deciding for him. I am sure he has a handle on it, considering he already has a VP search committee in place…

Ladies you’re absolutely right. He has earned the right to choose whoever he wants. His main goal is to win so he must choose someone who can help reign in the “other” votes.

Excellent point~
John Edwards said “not again” for vp. Obama should take the recommendations of his committee and make his choice from that. He should not have to take Hillary because the same “white working class uneducated” are not going to vote for Barack anyway. Bob Johnson is paying back is IOU to the Clintons; he could pay off her debts for her.
I’m with Lareeta. Let Bob Johnson pay off Clinton’s debt. Clinton and her crew are doing their best to treat Obama like he’s a chump, if not their “boy.” She doesn’t think he’s qualified to lead the country, but she wants to be his VP? Give me a break. If that’s not a back-stabbing waiting to happen, I don’t know what is! (LOL)
