In Barack Obama’s Own Words
Words can’t express how I felt watching Barack Obama give his speech last night. It was a blessing to live to see an African-American (45 years after Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech) accept the nomination. History turned into Destiny. It was Obama’s destiny and he has made us all proud.

This is one of my favorite parts from Barack Obama’s speech: “America, we cannot turn back. Not with so much work to be done. Not with so many children to educate, and so many veterans to care for. Not with an economy to fix and cities to rebuild and farms to save. Not with so many families to protect and so many lives to mend. America, we cannot turn back. We cannot walk alone. At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to march into the future. Let us keep that promise – that American promise – and in the words of Scripture hold firmly, without wavering, to the hope that we confess.”

The Republican’s pulled a fast one on the Democrats. Can’t wait to see how this shapes up. I’m so tired of politics, but I’m caught up into it as well.
Rich, that was a surprise move–but I’m confident that the best man will still win
I’m with you. I clapped and I cried.

It appears surreal, seeing Barack Obama deliver that inspiring speech with MLK’s I Have A Dream speech serve as the perfect backdrop.
OBAMA 2008!
