What Readers are saying about HOLLYWOOD DECEPTION by SHELIA M GOSS:

“With Hollywood Deception Shelia Goss has done it again. Love, lies and delicious drama! Pick this book up and you won’t be able to put it down. Be ready though – this fun novel is not a passive read. You’ll be yelling at Hailey, relating to her, wanting to slap her and cry with her all at the same time. Hollywood Deception is an all around good read full of scandal, just the way we like it. Well done, Ms. Goss!”  —Abiola Abrams is an Author, Media Personality, Host of Kiss and Tell Live erotica in NYC, and Kiss & Tell TV. Viewers also know Abiola as the host of BET’s short film show and Miss Picky of VH1′s Tough Lovewww.abiolatv.com

“Hollywood Deception reads like a true life Hollywood story. I couldn’t stop turning the pages.” —Kay, a reader

“Glitz, Glamour & LOADS of Drama…Ms. Goss once AGAIN keeps me turning the pages with another ENTERTAINING, yet fictional glimpse into the fast-paced lifestyle of a celebrity.” —Sweet N Sassy, Book Reviewer

Lip Gloss Chronicles Series Gets 4 Stars

Teens Read Too gives The Ultimate Test and Splitsville both 4 Stars. Below is a copy of the Splitsville Review.

Check it out:

SPLITSVILLE is Volume 2 in THE LIP GLOSS CHRONICLES. In the first book, the reader gets a glimpse
inside the life of Britney. For SPLITSVILLE, the reader now gets to know more about Jasmine, Britney’s friend
from THE ULTIMATE TEST, and the girl who DJ Johnson was bothering.

Jasmine’s life is out of control these days. She’s practically failing geometry, so she engages Cecil as her tutor. DJ
is still on her case at school. She interacted with TallandFly on the Internet and now he won’t stop texting and
calling her. And last, but certainly not least, her parents are constantly fighting and it looks like they’re headed for
divorce.

Thankfully, Jasmine has her friends. They insist on accompanying her to the mall to meet the boy from the Internet.
They stand by her side when DJ gets in her face again. They tell her she’s being too tough on Cecil, her tutor, who
obviously has a crush on her. And they help her out when she gets her parents to agree to go on a new reality show
that offers marriage counseling, Situation Number Nine.

As the reader can imagine, with all of these things going on, something is bound to happen. But I’m not one to give
away such exciting plot twists. You’ll just have to pick up SPLITSVILLE for yourself and find out what happens to
Jasmine!

This second installment of the series continues the story of Jasmine, Britney, and Sierra nicely. It’s easy to pick up
from where the first novel left off. And if you’re discovering THE LIP GLOSS CHRONICLES for the first time,
you’ll easily figure out all of the characters. It was also nice to see a different point of view in this novel as
compared to THE ULTIMATE TEST.

ABOUT THE DVD

Sinbad, one of the most renowned comedians on the scene, returns to the stage after a 13-year absence from his last stand-up special and kills it in “Sinbad: Where U Been?”  In it, the exuberant performer discusses America’s new black president, the lighter side of the economic recession, the pitfalls of love and marriage and, of course, gives everyone the low down of where he’s been.  The special was filmed at the Club Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

His special edition DVD is packed with over 45 minutes of material that did not air on COMEDY CENTRAL.  It’s a must-own for any true comedy/funk music fan and also includes a behind-the-scenes special feature with Sinbad.

More about Sinbad:

Known for finding humor in telling real-life stories, Sinbad’s comedy is larger than life, energetic and spontaneous.  His television career began with stand-up appearances on “Star Search.”  Soon after, he landed a guest-starring role on NBC’s hit series, “The Cosby Show,” which spun-off into a starring role on “A Different World.”  He later became the star of his own self-titled, critically-acclaimed series, “The Sinbad Show,” co-starring Salma Hayek, which earned him a nomination for “Favorite Television Actor” at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards.  Other television appearances include “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Cosby,” “Moesha,” “Roc,” “Slacker Cats” and hosting gigs on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” and “Soul Train.” In addition to his success on the small screen, Sinbad’s film credits include “Necessary Roughness” opposite Scott Bakula, “Coneheads” with Dan Aykroyd, “Houseguest” opposite Phil Hartman, “First Kid” and “Jingle All The Way” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, winning a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for “Favorite Supporting Actor – Family.”  His stand-up specials include “Sinbad: Brain Damaged,” “Sinbad: Afros and Bellbottoms,” “Sinbad: Son of a Preacher Man” and “Sinbad: Nuthin’ but the Funk.”

Contest open to US residents only. Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. March 28, 2010. Void where prohibited by law. The winners will be notified via email. If the winner hasn’t responded within 48 hours of the initial email with their shipping address, the next name pulled will be the winner.
