Charlie Caldwell III plays Detective LeBlanc in Black Butterfly

Are there any similarities between you and the character Detective LeBlanc? Why or Why not?

Yes. The biggest similarity between Detective LeBlanc and me is skepticism. He doesn’t believe what he’s told at the first source. He meticulously digs into an uncertain scenario until he finds the facts.

I’ve been a detective since I was a kid. The children in school called me Sherlock because I was always looking for a mystery to solve. There’s was a time when my favorite teacher’s pet rock went missing. She should have known it was the school bully who took it; in that, he’d began using the phrase “rock bottom” to those he’d pick on. I told my teacher to check his locker, low and behold, the goon had her pet rock on the top shelf. From that day on, my teacher labeled me the class Detective.
