Have you ever been in a work environment, where you’re the only Black person working at a company?   

I’ve been in several work environments where I was I was the only Black person. My favorite extremely racial job was a server at a sushi restaurant. I was asked a lot of “Black questions” and I asked a lot of “Korean” questions.

 About Black Butterfly

Rita struggles to find herself and tries to adjust to challenges of the racial, socio-economic stereotype she faces everyday as a dark skinned African American female. When Rita finds herself pushed to the limit, tension rises and a new women is born with vengeance.
